Fire services are reporting increasing numbers of fast-spreading fires caused by damaged or failing lithium-ion batteries across the British Isles.
Reports of 'near misses', fires and explosions on boats resulting substantial losses due to lithium-ion powered equipment on charge and/or in use are becoming more frequent.
