Conditions of Registration

BSS Examiners can expect a supportive working relationship with the BSS office, while also taking responsibility for reviewing their own work and addressing any issues.

Conditions of Registration (CoR)

Every year, Examiners will sign an agreement to abide to the CoR, so what are they? The CoR covers the essential Examiner activity and responsibilities. There is further guidance and details of such actions for example, when carrying out examinations or maintaining knowledge, on the various pages of this website.

Examiner safety, training and other considerations each individual must have

There are other responsibilities on the CoR that refer to training, personal safety and eventually additional information in this section of the website.

The CoR also includes in the Annex A, a need for Examiners to make a mandatory Written Pre-Examination Agreement with each BSS Examination customer. The agreement acts as a form of protection for the Examiner and customer alike. It is a record of a mutual understanding, prior to Examination, of the conditions and arrangements necessary for that Examination to be undertaken.
